Our Cancer Support Group is a free, community-led service held in the heart of Porirua. We welcome all kaumātua, tangata whaiora, and their whānau to connect, learn, and heal together in a safe and supportive environment.
Established in June 2022, this group is facilitated by a Registered Nurse from MMHC alongside support from the Cancer Society of New Zealand. Our gatherings take place at our marae-based hauora (health service), promoting health literacy, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful companionship.
